چکیده

The genus Scutellaria L., Lamiaceae family, Scutellarioideae sub-family is known as the most important medicinal plant in world. This research aimed to investigate flavonoid content of seven species from center, southwest, and west Iran. Via thin layer column chromatography, was extracted leaves then purified. To screen compositions, a chromatographic method applied by liquid chromatography mass spectrometry on triple quadrupole spectrometer (LC/TQMS/MS). Fingerprint analysis implemented so characterize total 73 chemical compounds, which 71 compounds were flavonoids belonging different classes. Flavone with 37 derivatives possessed major values. abundant observed S. multicaulis (23 compounds) patonii (22 compounds). Flavonoid composition, including apigenin, kaempferol, quercetin, hydroxylflavones represented remarkable derivatives. A 45 flavonoids, one tannin anthraquinone compound, be primarily separated identified for species. Moreover, six categorized groups this proposed barcodes. specific strongly provided boundaries species, pharmacological value enhancement, breeding programs, comprehensive documents According results, LC/TQMS/MS proven dominant regarding Scutellaria. Keywords:chemical groups; flavone; chromatography; multicaulis;
